Why another blog? Well, I’ve been blogging for a number of years–mostly about technology, especially mobile technology–and I needed an online soapbox to vent, share personal opinions about social issues and interact more with people.
Writing a personal blog, especially about contemporary social issues–whatever the subject–is a bit more challenging than tweeting on Twitter or posting to FaceBook. I hope to give more thought to what you read here than the 140 character limit of Twitter.
If you’re like me, you come across issues and things that bug you daily. Discussing them with friends is fine, but writing about them, especially in a blog, is more satisfying and permanent. It also gives readers and “followers” an opportunity to know me better, as I hope to know you better.
